With "Warid Call & SMS Block 9211" service allows you to block unlimited on-net, off-net and international numbers.

    You can use a block list for the unpleasant caller (s) that will be held at our end, which is unlimited on-net, off-net and international number (s) may contain.
    Once subscribed to the service of the unpleasant caller (s) will be assigned a default notice.
    You can also choose from a wide variety of pre-recorded messages from a specific caller (s).
    Let yourself in your own style as Warid also gives you the option of assigning self-recorded announcements (subject to approval) against the number of the unpleasant caller (s).
    You can also subscribe to the SMS service through which you an option to be notified when the unpleasant caller tries to call.
    The service is available for both postpaid and prepaid subscribers

How to register:

Registration for "Warid Call & SMS Block 9211" service can be made by calling 9211 or via SMS. The details for the same are listed below:

Choose IVR 9211 and follow the instructions to subscribe to the service

Type "Sub" in the SMS options and send it to 9211

Monthly subscription fee of Rs. 19 + VAT is applicable for both prepaid and postpaid users.

Cost of Rs. 2 + load / minute is applicable.

Block List:

With "Warid Call & SMS Block 9211" service allows you to maintain a list to block unwanted calls and SMS limit. A block contains all the numbers you have blocked and do not wish to receive calls from. The procedure for creating and block list is as follows:

Adding a number to the list of blocked:

    To add a number to your blocked list, send "block" <0321xxxxxxx> in an SMS to 420.

Cost of Rs. 2 + tax per SMS applies.

Deleting a number from the blocked list:

    To add a number from your blocked delete, send "unblock" <0321xxxxxxx> in an SMS to 420.

Cost of Rs. 2 + tax per SMS applies.

Deleting all numbers from the block list:

    With a view to removing all numbers added from the block list send a text message "delete all" to 420.

Cost of Rs. 2 + tax per SMS applies.

Retrieving all the numbers added to the list of blocked:

    The numbers to get added to your list of blocked send "List" in an SMS to 420. The characters for an SMS is 160 characters.

Cost of Rs. 2 + tax per SMS applies.

Adding new number of the caller on the block list:

    You can also use the last caller's number to add to the block list, type "Last" and send it as an SMS to 420. The system should automatically dial the number that you have received the last call and add it to your blocked list.

Default Announcement:

    Once you have subscribed to the service, a default notice against the unpleasant caller (s) in the block list is assigned.

    If you change the default notice, you can receive notification of your own choice to select from our wide range of fun pre-recorded announcements. Just call 9211 from your mobile phone. Cost of Rs. 2 + VAT per minute apply.

OR

    To be notified via SMS type ann <space> <announcement code> space <mobile announcement> the number you assign in your SMS and send it to 421 to choose. Example Ann <space> <ann code> <space> <0321xxxxxx>
