Dumb answer! Miss Utah messes up at Miss USA pagean

Miss Utah Marissa Powell was caught on the wrong foot during Sunday night's Miss USA pageant. She used an awkward phrase "to create education better" in response to a question on women's wages. The video has gone viral with over 33,500 views on YouTube since it was posted yesterday. The question was put to her by Celebrity judge and 'Real Housewives' star NeNe Leakes, who asked her:  "A recent report shows that in 40% of American families with children, women are the primary earners, yet they continue to earn less than men. What does it say about society?"As a top five finalist, the Salt Lake City native was given a thought-provoking question during the high-pressure Q&A round.

"I think we can relate this back to education and how we are continuing to try to strive," she said, pausing, "figure out how to create jobs right now.""That is the biggest problem, and I think especially the men are seen as the leaders of this, and so we need to try to figure out how to create education better so that we can solve this problem," she rambled. "Thank you."

Despite the reply, Marissa Powell was named third runner-up in the show.
